Legal education is an investment in your future. It requires careful planning and management of financial resources and lifestyle choices. Cumberland School of Law recognizes the rising costs of legal education and makes every effort to manage costs and to ensure students receive high quality legal education.
The law school's tuition remains competitive with other private law schools in the region. Students enrolled in 10-16 credit hours per semester are considered full-time students. Full-time tuition for the 2014–15 academic year is $36,234. Tuition for the flex-time program is $1,189 per credit hour. Other expenses associated with the cost of attendance are listed in the Student Budget. Samford University charges a technology fee to assist with technology upgrades across the campus. The technology fee for spring and fall terms is $150/term. In addition, the activity fee is $100/term.
Tuition for 2014 entering first-year summer coursework is $5,885. Summer tuition for upper-level students is $1,189 per credit hour.
