Accreditation

Cumberland School of Law is located on the campus of Samford University, which is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award the Juris Doctor Degree. 

Cumberland School of Law has been accredited by the American Bar Association since 1949 and has been a member of the Association of American Law Schools since 1952.

Because all these certification requirements are met, a Cumberland School of Law graduate is eligible to take the bar examination in any state.
