Appointments and Open Houses

Open Houses

Prospective students are invited and encouraged to attend Prospective Student Open Houses at Cumberland School of Law. These programs preview the law school and the admission's process, including, covering many general and specific topics and questions. These days start promptly at the scheduled beginning time. All registered guests are asked to be on time and seated before the program starts. See the fall 2011 Open House dates.

On these days, a prospective students can expect a wide variety of activities such as, meeting current law students, faculty or alums; touring the well-equipped facilities; sitting in on a first-year law class before the Open House (when available) and learning more about the admission process including, financial aid. 

Reservations are required to attend Open Houses. Contact the Admissions Office at lawadm@samford.edu, toll free at 1-800-888-7213 or 205-726-2702. To facilitate a small group discussion, space is limited to the first twenty registrants.

Open Houses will always be held on the scheduled Fridays from 10:30 am until roughly 12 noon Central Standard Time. Please check the fall 2011 dates.

Individual Appointments

Prospective students are encouraged to attend an Open House first, however, individual appointments can be scheduled based on the availability of the admissions staff. Please note the admissions staff will travel to many locations across the U.S. Be sure to check the list and see if there is a location close to you.
