Abstract

Social media comes in a myriad of forms, and its use and relevance continues to grow. Through a survey of popular social media platforms, case law, and technical aspects of social media, this Article demonstrates the importance of social media among the legal profession. This Article offers valuable insight and technical instruction for conducting independent searches of social media on the Internet and provides advice and guidelines for lawyers seeking to market their services through social media outlets.
