The panel will respond to ethical dilemmas presented in video-recorded vignettes focusing on best practices under the ABA Model Rules of Professional Conduct and the American College of Trial Lawyers’ Code of Pre-trial Conduct. Both sessions will take place in the John L. Carroll Moot Courtroom. CLE cost is complimentary. Each session is approved for 1.0 hour of ethics CLE credit by the Alabama State Bar. A Uniform Certificate of Attendance will be available for attendees to submit to other state bar associations. 2:30pm - Watch the final rounds of the Donworth Moot Court Competition!
The Donworth is the First Year Law Students’ moot court competition where they will argue their Lawyering and Legal Reasoning problems. The students will make legal arguments based on their appellate briefs in front of a mock appellate court. All alumni, prospective students, family, and friends are welcome to watch.
