Criminal Procedure I

Required casebook: Chemerinsky & Levenson, Criminal Procedure: Investigation (Aspen 2008). I will use the paperback version, but I do not think that it matters whether you buy the paperback or hardback—it is the same book. Suggested but not required: Chemerinsky & Levenson 2011 Criminal Procedure Case and Statutory Supplement. We will cover some of the cases in the casebook’s 2011 supplement, but if you do not want to buy it, you may look up the cases online.

Special note: In this course, there are required writing assignments.
