Symplicity is Cumberland's online job bank and virtual resource library.  Throughout the year, various employers ask us to post immediate job openings on our Symplicity job board.  Alumni are welcome to contact our office and request login information to view these postings.

Get Involved!

• ​Volunteer to Help
  We encourage alumni from all practice areas and other, non-legal fields to participate in our educational programs.  Please contact us if you are interested in coming to campus to speak with students about your career and to teach skills that will accelerate the students' professional development.  

  Each year, we need alumni to help with our Mock Interview Program, Lunch with a Lawyer programs, and several panel discussions.  We welcome and appreciate your participation in these important events.  You can contact Emily Ferris at eferris@samford.edu to volunteer or for more information.

• Recruit Cumberland Students & Graduates
  The Office of Career Development invites alumni to participate in our Fall and Spring recruitment seasons.  You are welcome to come to campus to conduct interviews, or we will be happy to assist you in collecting resumes from students so you can arrange to interview them in your office.

  We also welcome alumni to post job openings for Cumberland students and graduates.  We will be pleased to speak with you regarding market information and your hiring goals and strategies so that you obtain a strong applicant pool.
