Every student who matriculates at Cumberland School of Law is assigned an anonymous test number. This number will be assigned after the first week of school. If you lose or forget your anonymous test number you may come by the Office of Law Student Records to retrieve your number. Please be prepared to present a valid photo ID which may include your Samford ID, Drivers License, Military ID or other photo ID. Anonymous numbers will not be given out without a photo ID.

Grading at Cumberland School of Law is anonymous. Each student is assigned an anonymous test number. Unless otherwise noted, this number will be used for every quiz, test and/or final given in lieu of names or student id's. A student's anonymous test number will remain the same throughout their enrollment at Cumberland.

Cumberland will not calculate a specific class rank after a transfer student's first semester at our law school. We will provide data and a determination of where you would rank with your cumulative GPA for your purposes. After a transfer student's second semester at Cumberland, the student will be officially ranked with other students in the class.

Your SUid is a nine digit number that is assigned to you upon acceptance to the University. The SUid begins with the number 9 (nine). There are two ways in which to locate your SUid:

Class ranks are calculated based on a student's cumulative GPA. These ranks are calculated at the end of each semester. Ranks are a snapshot of a point in time. Once ranks are calculated they are not changed or re-calculated to reflect grade changes.
