Pro Bono Week 2012
It’s that time of year again and your help is needed. Cumberland School of Law will host three clinics during Pro Bono Week 2012 (October 21-27). Can you commit to at least one 2-hour slot for one of the clinics? This is a great opportunity to interact with the community and with volunteer attorneys. The law school will have laptops for law students with software loaded to prepare clients Wills, Power of Attorney and Advanced Directives. Law students will sit with the attorneys and interview the clients and assist in drafting the documents. Law students will also need to act as a witness for those documents. For the past three years, Cumberland School of Law led the state in Pro Bono Week activities, which could not have been accomplished without the help of law students.
