Comparative Criminal Procedure

The course will compare the law of criminal procedure of the United States with that of Brazil. The subject matter of the course will consider the investigation of crimes, with an emphasis on constitutional and statutory limitations on the police, and the determination of guilt or innocence through the process of adjudication.
