602 This course examines the “at-will” employment doctrine and compares it with employment contracts and other arrangements that provide workers with job security. The course also examines exceptions to the “at-will” rule, specifically provisions that prevent dismissal on the basis of public policy. Topics include anti-discrimination law, disability rights, and whistle-blower (retaliatory discharge) laws. Credits:
