2010 Thurgood Marshall Symposium

02/25/2010 On Thursday, February 25, the Cumberland Black Law Students Association will host its annual Thurgood Marshall Symposium. The topic for this year’s symposium is “Diversity on the Bench.” The Honorable Houston Brown will serve as the Symposium’s guest speaker. Judge Houston Brown is the first African-American to complete his entire law school education at Cumberland School of Law in 1973. He currently presides as a Jefferson County circuit court judge in the civil division. The Symposium will take place at Cumberland School of Law in the Moot Courtroom starting at noon. There will be a reception immediately following the symposium. Event Location(s):
