On Thursday, November 19 at NOON in the Great Room, Career Services will host its final "Lunch with a Lawyer" program of the semester.  Mr. William (Bill) Horton, a healthcare attorney at the law firm of Haskell Slaughter, will be at Cumberland to talk about his practice, experience, and offer words of advice to those interested in this type of practice.

The American Journal of Trial Advocacy will host the Twenty-fifth Annual Holiday Dessert Spread for Cumberland faculty, administration, and staff on Thursday, November 19, 2009. Journal members are pleased to offer this event to help welcome in the holiday season.

A dinner for alumni in the Gadsden/Anniston area is scheduled December 1, 2009.  Location will be announced at a later time.

The law school's December Commencement will take place Saturday, December 12 at 10:00 AM.

Every spring, students, faculty and staff look forward to the annual events and celebrations which are held during Law Week.  A few of the highlights are the Williams Freshman Trial Competition, Rascal Day and the Freshman Follies.

Law Week 2010 will take place March 1 - 5.

Cumberland School of Law will hold its commencement Friday, May 14, 2010 at 6:00 PM in the Wright Center.
