2009 Gruber Justice Prize
Cumberland School of Law will host the 2009 Gruber Justice Prize Awards Ceremony Thursday, September 24, 2009 at noon in the Moot Court Room. The Peter and Patricia Gruber Foundation is an internationally recognized foundation which annually awards five prizes in the fields of Cosmology, Genetics, Neuroscience, Justice and Women’s Rights.
The prizes consist of a gold medal and $500,000. The awards ceremony garners national and international publicity. The recipients of this year’s Justice Prize are Bryan Stevenson, from the Equal Justice Initiative in Montgomery, and the European Roma Rights Centre in Budapest.
