Not Just Your Grandmother's Friday Night Social - How Bingo Became More Than Just a Game in Alabama

Cumberland Law Review will host its Spring Symposium on Friday, February 11, 2011 in the Moot Court Room.  Speakers from across the state will discuss the political, social, moral and legal issues surrounding Bingo in Alabama.

Jefferson County District Attorney Brandon Falls, Alabama State Senator Cam Ward, Professor Joe Lester of Jones School of Law, and a host of practitioners will provide an inside look into what has become Alabama's hottest political controversy. 

Breakfast will be provided at 8:30 AM, and the program begins at 9:00 AM.  Lunch will be served in the Great Room at noon.  The program will conclude at 4:00 PM.

This event is free and open to the public.
