Cumberland Grad Kim Hudson Spoke at Convocation
Kim Hudson, Cumberland Class of 2000, was the guest speaker at the University’s convocation program on Thursday, November 10, 2011 in Reid Chapel. She spoke about her family’s foundation and about how her faith has shaped her life.
Kim is married to Atlanta Braves’ pitcher, Tim Hudson, and they have three children. In 2009, they formed the Hudson Family Foundation, an organization that “is committed to making a positive and long-lasting impact in the lives of children who have a genuine need for assistance with regard to a specific physical, emotional or financial circumstance”. The Hudsons have been active in several charitable organizations, but their passion for children in need prompted them to form The Hudson Family Foundation.
