Governor Albert P. Brewer to Receive American Inns of Court's Professionalism Award for the Eleventh Circuit
The Professionalism Award is presented to honor "a senior practicing judge or lawyer whose life and practice display sterling character and unquestioned integrity, coupled with ongoing dedication to the highest standards of the legal profession." A distinguished panel of judges and representatives from the American Inns of Court Foundation selected Governor Brewer as the recipient of this year's award. Candidates are nominated through circuit-wide open nominations.

Governor Albert P. Brewer, Distinguished Professor of Law and Government at Cumberland School of Law, has been selected to receive the 2009 American Inns of Court Professionalism Award for the Eleventh Circuit. The award will be presented at the Eleventh Circuit Judicial Conference in Birmingham on Thursday, April 30, 2009.
