An Inside Look at State and Federal Courts
In keeping with Cumberland’s mission to produce graduates who are prepared to practice, Career Services will host a number of short “practice seminars” this year. These seminars are designed to teach Cumberland students about important, real-world issues that most law students are not exposed to until they graduate and start practicing.
Our first presenter will be Dean John Carroll, who will speak to Cumberland students at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 25, in the Moot Court Room. Dean Carroll’s topic will be “An Inside Look at State and Federal Courts – How Do They Operate and Does It Make a Difference Where You Are?”
Dean Carroll expects the presentation will take 30-45 minutes, with a question and answer session to follow.
All Cumberland students are invited and encouraged to attend.
