Judicial Selection Forum

The Civil Courts Procedures Committee of the Birmingham Bar Association is sponsoring a community-wide event entitled "Judicial Selection Forum - Is Change Needed in How We Fill Our Courts?" at the Cumberland School of Law in the Moot Court Room from 5:30 to 7:00 PM on October 7, 2008.
 
Distinguished speakers include Chief Justice Sue Bell Cobb and Justice Harold See, both of the Alabama Supreme Court, Bill Clark of Redden, Mills & Clark, LLP (former President of the Alabama Bar Association and a respected advocate on this topic), and a member of our State Legislature. 

The panel will be moderated by former Governor Albert Brewer.  This is an excellent opportunity to educate the community about the varying positions on the important topic of judicial selection.
