Professor Brad Bishop & Dr. Anne Bishop Honored at Homecoming Football Game
Professor Brad Bishop and his spouse, Dr. Anne Bishop, were honored at Samford University’s Homecoming Football game for their contributions to Samford University and the Cumberland School of Law. Professor Bishop graduated from Samford University in 1961 and graduated from the Cumberland School of Law in 1971. He was active in college debate and coached the Samford Debate team to 3 national championships. He has been a professor at the law school since his graduation in 1971 and has received numerous awards for his teaching. His spouse Anne has had a long and distinguished career in education. She, as well, has received numerous awards for her teaching including being named as state teacher of the year.

It was particularly appropriate that the Bishops be honored at a football game because Professor Bishop played football for Samford under Coach Bobby Bowden while he was an undergraduate at Samford.
