The Verdict on Thomas Jefferson: What is the Evidence?
The College of Arts and Sciences and the Cumberland School of Law will present “The Verdict on Thomas Jefferson: What is the Evidence?” Thursday, March 25, 2010 at 3:00 PM in the Moot Court Room in Robinson Hall.
William G. Hyland, Jr., a Cumberland graduate of the class of 1983 and author of In Defense of Thomas Jefferson: The Sally Hemings Sex Scandal, will be the featured speaker. Professor David Johnson, Biology Department at Samford, will speak on “What DNA Can Tell Us,” and Professor John Mayfield, history professor and colonial historian, will discuss “Historical Evidence.” A question and answer session will follow.
All students, faculty and staff are invited to attend.
